PACELLI BOYS BASKETBALL TROUNCES TRI-COUNTY

STEVENS POINT – The Stevens Point Pacelli boys basketball team stayed tied for the lead in the Central Wisconsin Conference South Division with a resounding 76-15 win over Tri-County on Thursday night at Pacelli High School.
The Cardinals cruised out to a 53-10 lead and held Tri-County (1-9, 0-7 CWC South) to just five points in the second half as they rolled to the victory.
Pacelli is now 7-8 overall and 6-1 in the CWC South, which is tied with Almond-Bancroft for the conference lead.
Jaydon Awe had 15 points and 14 rebounds, Nick Fox also had 15 points, and Asher Jordan hit three 3-pointers and scored nine for Pacelli.
Pacelli plays a nonconference game at Wisconsin Rapids Assumption on Saturday at 3 p.m. The game will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.
