HAVLOVITZ PASSES 1,000 CAREER POINTS AS WILD ROSE GIRLS BASKETBALL ROUTS MARION

WILD ROSE – Laney Havlovitz scored 28 of her game-high 30 points in the first half to surpass the 1,000-point mark for her career as the Wild Rose girls basketball team blasted Marion 92-5 in a nonconference game Tuesday at Wild Rose High School.


Orria Wood added 16 points and Mya Bahr scored 12 for the Wildcats, who improve to 19-1 after winning their 17th-straight game.


Wild Rose will play at Stevens Point Pacelli on Thursday in its Central Wisconsin Conference South Division and regular-season finale. Wild Rose would clinch the outright conference title with a win, while Pacelli could tie the Wildcats for a share of the championship with a victory. The game will be live-streamed at zaleskisports.com beginning at 6 p.m.
