PRENTICE – Ashton Makovsky had 22 points and 12 rebounds to lead Prentice to a tight 68-66 win over Edgar in a Marawood Conference boys basketball crossover game Monday at Prentice High School.

Layne Blomberg added 16 points for the Buccaneers, who even their record at 7-7 overall and 2-6 in the Marawood North.

Everet Brehm had 18 points and five rebounds, and Ashton Schuett chipped in 10 points for Edgar (7-6, 4-4 Marawood South).

Edgar plays another Marawood Conference crossover game at Abbotsford on Thursday.
