PACELLI SOFTBALL WRAPS UP CONFERENCE TITLE WITH TUESDAY NIGHT WIN

PLOVER - The Pacelli Cardinals are Central Wisconsin South conference champions for the fourth-straight season after a 17-1 win over the Rosholt Hornets on Tuesday night. The Cardinals share the 2022 title with Almond-Bancroft, which also finished 11-1 in conference play and split the season series with Pacelli.
In Tuesday's game, Pacelli bullied Rosholt in all four innings of play, scoring multiple runs in each frame including eight in the fourth.
Sydney Gavin led the Cardinals from the plate with three runs batted in. Ava Tess, Hannah Trzinski, and Kaitlyn Ilkka each had two RBI in the game.
Trzinski picked up the win while striking out six Hornets.
Pacelli hosts Mosinee at Woyak Park in Plover on Wednesday night with first pitch scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Then the Cardinals travel to Amherst Thursday for a 4:45 p.m game against the Falcons.
