NECEDAH DROPS WILD ROSE FOOTBALL IN 2021 OPENER

WILD ROSE – Necedah scored four first-half touchdowns and went on to defeat Wild Rose 56-15 in a nonconference football game Friday night, opening the 2021 season for both teams.
Necedah pulled out to a 32-0 lead by halftime, converting 2-point plays after each of its touchdowns.
Wild Rose got on the board in the third quarter when quarterback Brett Wilbert threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Brett Mueller.
The Cardinals responded with three-straight touchdowns before Wilbert threw another scoring pass to Mueller, this time for 46 yards.
Necedah outgained Wild Rose 346-115, holding the Wildcats to six first downs.
Wild Rose will play a nonconference game at Living Word Lutheran in Jackson on Saturday, Aug. 28, at 1 p.m.
