MOSINEE BOYS BASKETBALL CRUSHES ANTIGO FOR FOURTH-STRAIGHT WIN

ANTIGO – Mosinee outscored Antigo by 14 points over the final 10 minutes of the first half to rolled to a 71-32 victory in the Great Northern Conference boys basketball opener for both teams on Friday at Antigo High School.
Antigo led 8-6 before the Indians outscored them 26-12 to close the first half, then piled it on with a 39-12 advantage in the second half.
Drake Grod and Davin Stoffel each scored 15 points, Trenton Dorn added 12, and Trevor Garski and Kyle Miller both chipped in 10 for Mosinee, which is now 4-0 overall.
Connor Cornelius had 17 points to lead Antigo (1-2 overall).
Mosinee plays a nonconference game at Wisconsin Rapids on Tuesday.
