LOYAL BOYS BASKETBALL ROUGHS UP GREENWOOD

GREENWOOD – Kaden Hagen scored 12 points and Jacob Schill added 11 as the Loyal boys basketball team rolled to a 59-23 win over Loyal in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Friday night at Greenwood High School.


Loyal raced out to a 35-13 lead by halftime as it cruised to the victory. The Greyhounds are now 6-7 overall and 5-4 in the Cloverbelt East.


Xander Hinker had 10 points for Greenwood (4-10, 1-7 Cloverbelt East), which was limited to just seven made baskets in the game.


Loyal hosts Blair-Taylor for a nonconference game on Monday. Greenwood returns to action Thursday at Neillsville.
