WESTFIELD EDGES PACELLI BOYS BASKETBALL AT SENTRY CLASSIC

STEVENS POINT – Westfield raced out to a double-digit lead by halftime and held on for a 51-49 win over Stevens Point Pacelli on Tuesday at the Sentry Classic at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.


The win is the Pioneers first of the season as they improve to 1-6. Pacelli drops to 2-4.


Jaydon Awe had 13 points and nine rebounds, and Andrew Van Order and Brycen Cashin each added nine points for Pacelli.


Pacelli plays Amherst at 5:15 p.m. at the Sentry Classic on Thursday.
