SPASH OVERWHELMS EVEREST TO PICK UP ROAD CONFERENCE WIN
SPORTSDESK - Leah Earnest turned in another big performance helping her Panthers turn a one point halftime deficit into a 78-60 road win at DC Everest. The Panthers also got double-digit scoring from Emma Jossie (17), Zoe Fink (17), and Tahlia Moe (12) to move their Wisconsin Valley mark to 4-0. DC Everest was led by Hannah Stuedemann with 20 points as the Evergreens fall to 1-3.
“A nice road win. We got balanced scoring and played better defense in the 2nd half to pull away", SPASH Panthers head coach Kraig Terpstra said.
Up next for SPASH is a trip to Wausau East while Everest will host Wisconsin Rapids, both games scheduled for Tuesday, January 14th.
