ROSHOLT VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS WILD ROSE TO EARN FIRST CONFERENCE WIN

WILD ROSE – The Rosholt volleyball team finished its regular season with a 3-0 sweep of Wild Rose on Thursday night, earning its first Central Wisconsin Conference South Division victory.
Rosholt won 26-24, 26-24, 25-23, to finish the CWC South season with a 1-5 record. Wild Rose finishes 0-6.
Sarah Trzinski had 12 kills, Sam Simonis had 21 digs, and Lily Lorbecki had 13 assists and three service aces for the Hornets.
Rosholt will play a WIAA Division 4 regional quarterfinal at Wausau Newman Catholic on Tuesday.
