ROSHOLT FOOTBALL TOPS WILD ROSE FOR FIRST WIN OF SEASON

WILD ROSE – The Rosholt football team earned its first win of the season, downing Wild Rose 41-13 in a Central Wisconsin Conference Small Division game Friday night at Wild Rose High School.


Rosholt is now 1-3 overall and 1-1 in the CWC Small. Wild Rose is 1-3 and 0-2 in conference play.


Wild Rose was held to 157 total yards, 98 coming on the ground from Ethan Tratz, who scored on a fumble recovery and return in the second quarter and a 9-yard rushing touchdown in the third.


Evan Tratz caught four passes from quarterback Brett Wilbert for 22 yards, and Brett Mueller had three catches for 17 yards. Wilbert finished with 36 yards passing on 8 of 17 and one interception.


Rosholt statistics were not reported.


Wild Rose will play at Loyal and Rosholt will be at home against Pittsville in CWC Small action on Sept. 17.
