PACELLI BASEBALL FINISHES CWC SOUTH SCHEDULE WITH WIN AT PITTSVILLE

PITTSVILLE – Brock Birrenkott and Peyton Flees combined on a two-hitter to lift the Pacelli baseball team to a 5-2 win over Pittsville in a Central Wisconsin Conference South Division baseball game Tuesday.
Birrenkott struck out six in six innings, and Flees finished off the win as Pacelli wrapped up its conference schedule with an 8-2 record (13-8 overall). Birrenkott added two hits for the Cardinals.
Kaydin Mayek went 3-for-3 and drove in a pair, and Flees had two hits as well for the Cardinals, who had 11 hits overall.
Noah Grimm hit a home run for the Panthers (7-6, 3-5 CWC South).
Pacelli hosts Oshkosh Lourdes Academy for a nonconference game at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bukolt Park.
