MARSHFIELD – The Columbus Catholic girls basketball team, playing without leading scorer Addison Baierl, had trouble finding its offense and dropped a nonconference game at Northland Lutheran 30-25 on Friday night at Columbus Catholic High School.


Columbus was held to just eight field goals and only scored nine points in the second half as it falls to 8-8 this season.


Annika Brown had eight points to lead the Dons.


Bree Keahn made three 3-pointers had finished with 13 points for Northland Lutheran (11-2).


Columbus Catholic returns to action Tuesday at Owen-Withee.
