MOSINEE VOLLEYBALL WINS AT TOMAWAWK TO STAY UNBEATEN IN GNC

TOMAHAWK – The Mosinee volleyball team improved to 3-0 in the Great Northern Conference with a 3-1 win over Tomahawk on Tuesday at Tomahawk High School.

Mosinee (17-1 overall) won 25-18, 20-25, 25-20, 25-21, to keep its perfect conference record intact.

Jenna Placek had 13 kills, Abbi Martin added 12 kills, Jessica Maurer had 10 kills and 12 digs, Alexis Jonas added 30 assists, seven kills and six service aces, and Claire Selenske had a team-high 13 digs for the Indians.

Mosinee returns to action Saturday at the first Great Northern Conference Meet of the season at Medford.
