MOSINEE – The Mosinee softball team exploded for a 13-run fourth inning as it pummeled Marathon 18-0 in a nonconference game Monday at Mosinee High School.

The Indians racked up 14 hits, and took advantage of four errors and five walks to roll to the victory.

Lead-off hitter Mikah Keller went 4-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBI, and Hailey Shnowske added three hits and three RBI for Mosinee (12-2).

Both teams return to action Tuesday. Mosinee hosts Northland Pines in a Great Northern Conference game, while Marathon (3-12) will travel to Auburndale for a Marawood Conference South Division contest.
