MOSINEE GIRLS BASKETBALL ROUTS TOMAHAWK

MOSINEE – The Mosinee girls basketball team remains perfect on the season after routing Tomahawk 69-13 in a Great Northern Conference game Thursday at Mosinee High School.
The Indians cruised out to a 45-4 by halftime and as they dominated from start to finish and improve to 7-0 overall and 3-0 in the GNC.
Kate Fitzgerald scored 22 points and Jenna Placek added 18 for Mosinee as all 10 players scored in the win.
Both teams return to action with nonconference home games on Tuesday. Tomahawk will host Chequamegon and Mosinee will be at home against Medford.
