GILMANTON HOLDS OFF GRANTON GIRLS BASKETBALL

GILMANTON – Gilmanton held Granton to three points in the first half and pulled out a 30-20 win in a nonconference girls basketball game Tuesday night at Gilmanton High School.
Lydia Evans scored 18 points for Gilmanton, which led 12-3 at halftime and was able to hold off the Bulldogs the rest of the way.
Megan Walter hit three 3-pointers and scored nine points to lead Granton (0-3).
Granton will take a week off before playing at Marshfield Columbus Catholic for a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game on Tuesday, Dec. 7.
