EDGAR CLAIMS REGIONAL FINAL CHAMPIONSHIP

SPORTSDESK - The Edgar Wildcats were the best Wildcats on Saturday night in Wild Rose. Edgar caged the Wild Rose Wildcats 63-47 and claimed a regional final road championship.

Edgar will play familiar faces from the Marawood South on Thursday in Mosinee as they face the Newman Catholic Cardinals. Edgar was swept by Newman in the regluar season; first it was a home loss December 16th 58-45 and on the road February 11th, 41-40.

The Thursday, March 5th sectional semi-final is scheduled to be played at Mosinee with a tip time of 7pm.
