WHY TO WATCH: At 6-3, Yorktown has enjoyed its best regular season in the past five years. The Tigers have been sharp on defense in the second half of the season, giving up just 44 points in the past five games. Yorktown played without quarterback Reid Neal last week and it’s uncertain whether he’ll be available this week. Nate Eakins filled in as the starter and completed 16-of-34 passes for 208 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions in a 19-8 loss to Mount Vernon. The Golden Eagles have relied heavily on the rushing of Gus Baumgartner. The senior carried the ball 238 times for 1,172 yards during the regular season. He rushed for at least 114 yards in each of the past three games.
