CLARY BECOMES WISCONSIN RAPIDS GIRLS BASKETBALL'S ALL-TIME LEADING SCORER IN WIN OVER RHINELANDER

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Wisconsin Rapids senior Megan Clary scored 23 points to become the program’s all-time leading scorer and help lead the Raiders to a 57-47 nonconference win over Rhinelander on Monday night at Lincoln High School.
Clary, who also had seven rebounds in the win, surpasses Petra Olsen’s 1,318 points to become Rapids’ all-time leading girls basketball scorer.
Chelsea King added 16 points and seven steals, and Ella Bruns had 10 points, nine rebounds and eight steals for Wisconsin Rapids, which improves to 15-8 after winning its fifth game in a row.
The Raiders trailed 30-25 at halftime before outscoring Rhinelander by 15 in the second half to pull out the victory.
Rapids plays its Wisconsin Valley Conference finale at home against Wausau West on Thursday, needing a win to share the conference championship. The game begins at 7:15 p.m. and will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.
