STEVENS POINT – The Stevens Point girls tennis team swept Wisconsin Rapids in its Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meet opener at home on Tuesday.

Stevens Point did not lose a single game in its four singles matches, and dropped just seven games in the three doubles matches.

SPASH plays at Merrill in a WVC dual on Thursday. Wisconsin Rapids (0-2 WVC) is off until Saturday when it is at the Appleton West Invitational.
