ALEX KING BECOMES ALL-TIME NEILLSVILLE BOYS BASKETBALL SCORING LEADER
SPORTSDESK - Neillsville's Alex King became the all-time Neillsville boys basketball scoring leader as his Warriors roughed-up Greenwood, 74-49, on Thursday night. King has now scored 1,208 career points after his 17 last night.
King began the night trailing Cody Craig by just one point and eclipsed his record just 2:36 into the game from the free throw line. After being fouled by Greenwood's Cooper Bredlau in the act of shooting, King made both free throws, tying and then surpassing Craig.
Alex King, a senior, trails all-time Neillsville basketball scoring leader, Jenny Lindner (1,656) and has 17 remaining games plus potential playoff games this season.
