PACELLI SOFTBALL ROUTS PORT EDWARDS FOR 10TH-STRAIGHT WIN

PORT EDWARDS – The Stevens Point Pacelli softball team won its 10th-straight game, downing Port Edwards 20-5 in a Central Wisconsin Conference South Division game Wednesday.
Grace Repinski went the distance in the five-inning victory on the mound for the Cardinals, striking out six.
Sydney Gavin led the hit parade for the Cardinals (14-2, 9-0 CWC South), going 3-for-3 with a double, three runs scored and four RBIs.
Pacelli pounded out 14 hits, including six doubles.
Repinski added two hits and three RBIs, and Sami Miller and Shannon Lepak also had two hits apiece for the Cardinals.
Pacelli plays at home against Tri-County on Thursday, while Port Edwards travels to Wild Rose.
