PACELLI BASEBALL FALLS TO BELOIT TURNER AT WAUPUN TOURNAMENT

WAUPUN – The Stevens Point Pacelli baseball team dropped a 12-2 decision to undefeated Beloit Turner in a semifinal of the Waupun Baseball Tournament on Friday.
Turner (14-0) scored multiple runs in each of the first three innings and added single tallies in the fourth and fifth to end the game via the 10-run rule.
Pacelli (11-7) was held to two hits, singles by Drew Kedrowicz and Kaydin Mayek.
Pacelli will play again at the two-day tournament on Saturday before return to Central Wisconsin Conference South action Tuesday at Pittsville.
