WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Wisconsin Rapids scored three unearned runs and rode the arm of Tyler Beyer to a 3-2 win over D.C. Everest on Friday at Witter Field.

The Rangers scored single runs in the second, third and fourth innings to pull out the victory.

Caden Sengbusch reached on an error and scored on a passed ball in the second, Austin Juneman walked and scored on a passed ball in the third, and Ashton Potter walked and scored on an error in the fourth to provide Wisconsin Rapids will all of its offense as it had only three hits.

Beyer struck out five, walked one and scattered five hits to earn the win for the Rangers.

Wisconsin Rapids will play at D.C. Everest on Tuesday.
