WILD ROSE GIRLS BASKETBALL BLASTS TRI-COUNTY FOR 14TH WIN IN A ROW

PLAINFIELD – The Wild Rose girls basketball team extended its winning streak to 14 with a 84-19 trouncing of Tri-County in a Central Wisconsin Conference South Division matchup Thursday at Tri-County High School.
Laney Havlovitz scored 31 points, Orria Wood added 18, and Clare Williams chipped in 14 points for the Wildcats, who are now 16-1 overall and a perfect 9-0 in the CWC South.
Havlovitz and Wood each made three 3-pointers as Wild Rose made 10 in all in the victory.
Braelyn Pionke had 11 points for Tri-County (5-13, 1-8 CWC South).
Wild Rose hosts Rosholt on Tuesday.
