WILD ROSE GIRLS BASKETBALL BEATS ROSHOLT TO STAY UNBEATEN IN CWC SOUTH

ROSHOLT – Laney Havlovitz scored 27 points to lead the Wild Rose girls basketball team to a 61-38 win over Rosholt in a Central Wisconsin Conference South Division matchup Friday at Rosholt High School.
Orria Wood added 10 points for the Wildcats, who are now 6-1 overall and 3-0 in the CWC South.
Rosholt was held to 24 percent shooting (14-for-59) and drops to 0-7 and 0-4 in conference play.
Lily Lorbiecki hit three 3-pointers and scored 11 points, and Sarah Trzinski had nine rebounds and six points for the Hornets.
Both teams are back in action Tuesday with nonconference games. Rosholt will be at Wittenberg-Birnamwood and Wild Rose hosts Manawa.
