STRATFORD SOFTBALL EARNS COMEBACK WIN AT RIB LAKE

RIB LAKE – Stratford overcame a four-run deficit to defeat Rib Lake 10-5 in a nonconference softball game Friday at Rib Lake High School.


Rib Lake (3-9) led 5-1 after two innings before Stratford scored five times over the next two innings and added four more in the sixth.


Laney Pankratz picked up the win with five scoreless innings of relief for the Tigers (8-9).


Tessa Berg scored three times, Megan Wiese drove in three runs, and Delaney Dennee and Emma Roeper each had two RBI for Stratford.


Stratford finishes its regular season and Marawood Conference South Division schedule at home Tuesday against conference champion Wisconsin Rapids Assumption. The game will start at 4:45 p.m. and will be broadcast on zaleskisports.com.
