ROSHOLT GIRLS BASKETBALL DROPS SEASON OPENER AT SURING

SURING – Suring pulled away following a low-scoring first half and defeated Rosholt 50-26 in a nonconference girls basketball game on Tuesday at Suring High School.
Suring led 17-9 at halftime before dominating the second half by 16 points to earn the win and improve to 2-1.
Rosholt, playing its season opener, made just nine of 35 shots from the field in the loss.
Alexi Lemanczyk had six points, and Lily Lorbeicki and Peyton Skortz each had five for the Hornets.
Rosholt plays a nonconference game at Auburndale on Monday.
