PITTSVILLE – The Pittsville girls basketball team ended a three-game losing streak with a resounding 69-19 win over Port Edwards in the regular-season and Central Wisconsin Conference South Division finale on Thursday at Pittsville High School.
Haylee Zawislan had 14 points and Reese Grimm scored 10 for Pittsville, which ends the regular season with a 12-11 record and a 7-5 mark in the CWC South.
Nakita Borths had seven points for Port Edwards (5-18, 1-11 CWC South).
Both teams will play WIAA Division 5 regional quarterfinals on the road on Tuesday. Pittsville will be at Loyal and Port Edwards is at Athens.
