PACELLI GIRLS BASKETBALL EDGES ALMOND-BANCROFT TO STAY UNBEATEN IN CWC SOUTH

STEVENS POINT – The Stevens Point Pacelli girls basketball team remains undefeated in the Central Wisconsin Conference South Division after slipping past Almond-Bancroft 32-30 on Tuesday at Pacelli High School.
Casey Vaughan had 12 points to lead the Cardinals, who improve to 7-4 overall and 5-0 in the CWC South.
Lexie Dernbach scored 12 points for Almond-Bancroft (8-7, 3-3 CWC South).
The win sets up a matchup between undefeated CWC South teams as Pacelli will travel to Wild Rose on Friday.
