MOSINEE BOYS BASKETBALL SNAGS ROAD WIN AT LAKELAND

MINOCQUA – The Mosinee boys basketball team remains undefeated in the Great Northern Conference after posting a 60-49 win over Lakeland on Friday night at Lakeland Union High School.


Kyle Miller had 11 points and Drake Grod added 10 in the first half as Mosinee jumped out to a 31-20 lead. The teams played even in the second half as the Indians held on for the win and are now 11-1 overall and 4-0 in the Great Northern Conference.


Trenton Dorn finished with a team-high 19 points, Miller added 15 and Grod 13 for Mosinee.


Lakeland (5-9, 2-3 GNC) made nine 3-pointers in the game, including three each by Carter Quade and Will Fortier. Fortier had a team-high 12 points in the loss.


Mosinee plays a conference game at Tomahawk on Monday.
