LOYAL VOLLEYBALL PICKS UP HOME PLAYOFF WIN
SPORTSDESK - The Loyal Greyhounds got by the Owen-Withee Blackhawks at home on Tuesday night in a regional quarter-final by a score of 3-1 (25-10, 22-25, 25-13-25-22).
Loyal was led in the match by McKenna Schley with 27 assists and Kaitlyn Lindner with 26 digs. The Hounds were also helped by Kayla Bremmer with 10 kills and Aspen Hagen recorded eight kills. Paige Smith had 10 blocks and Bremmer contributed five stuffs at the net. Zaida Brock had six service aces.
Next up for Loyal is a regional semi-final match Thursday night at Columbus Catholic in Marshfield. The match is scheduled to begin at 7pm and will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com/live-sports.
