WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Auburndale volleyball team opened its 2021 season dropping a 3-0 decision to Wisconsin Rapids on Thursday at Lincoln High School.

Wisconsin Rapids won 25-10, 25-13, 25-17.

Ashlyn Grimm had 15 assists, Josie Ertl had eight kills and eight digs, and Maggie Baltus had seven digs for Auburndale.

Wisconsin Rapids statistics were not reported.

Auburndale will be back in action at the Wausau West Quad on Tuesday. Wisconsin Rapids will host an eight-team tournament on Saturday.
