STEVENS POINT BOYS SWIMMING SWEEPS ALL 11 RACES TO DEFEAT WISCONSIN RAPIDS

STEVENS POINT – Stevens Point won all 11 races and defeated Wisconsin Rapids 128-41 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys swimming dual meet on Thursday at Stevens Point Area Senior High.
Stevens Point is now 3-0 and Wisconsin Rapids 1-2 in Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meets this season.
Konnor Pilger won the 200 freestyle (1:54.45) and the 500 freestyle (5:04.80), Kyle Franz took first in the 100 freestyle (53.76 seconds) and the 100 breaststroke (1:14.01), and Cade Casey won the 50 freestyle (23.63) and the 100 backstroke (58.88) to earn multiple individual wins for Stevens Point.
SPASH won all three relays, with Pilger, Franz and Casey each playing parts in two separate victories.
Will Gargulak won the 100 butterfly (58.33) and Sam Gargulak won the 200 individual medley (2:23.97) for the other two wins for the Panthers.
