PLOVER – The Stevens Point Pacelli softball team had its 11-game winning streak snapped but managed to split a doubleheader with Johnson Creek on Thursday at Woyak Park.

Johnson Creek won the first game 6-4 before the Cardinals turned the tables with a 12-10 win in a slugfest.

Briar Armatowski had two of Pacelli’s six hits in the opener.

In Game 2, the Cardinals had 12 hits and scored multiple runs in three different innings.

Armatowski, Jaden Hyrty and Grace Repinski each had two hits, and Emma Van Order and Emily Grezenski both had a pair of RBIs for Pacelli (16-3).

Pacelli will look to finish off an undefeated Central Wisconsin Conference South Division season with a win at home against Tri-County on Friday.
