MOSINEE VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS ANTIGO, RUNS GNC RECORD TO 6-0

MOSINEE – The Mosinee volleyball team stayed red hot with a 3-0 sweep of Antigo in Great Northern Conference action Tuesday night at Mosinee High School.

The Indians won 25-14, 25-19, 25-15, to improve to 20-1 overall and 6-0 in the GNC. Antigo is now 1-5 in conference play.

Claire Selenske had 11 kills, and Alexis Jonas had 25 assists and 10 digs to lead Mosinee in each category.

Abbi Martin added six kills and three blocks, Jessica Maurer also had six kills, and Jenna Placek had three blocks in the win as well for the Indians.

Mosinee will compete at the Appleton East Invitational on Saturday before returning to Great Northern Conference action next Tuesday, Sept. 28, at Lakeland.
