ABBOTSFORD – Undefeated Hurley busted open a close game with four third-quarter touchdowns and went on to beat Abbotsford 54-14 in a nonconference football game Friday night at Abbotsford High School.
Ty Falteisek had a pair of touchdowns for Abbotsford as it kept it within striking distance at 24-14 early in the third quarter before Hurley (9-0) ripped off four unanswered touchdowns to pull away.
Falteisek finished with 131 rushing yards and 30 more receiving, and quarterback JV Castillo added 110 yards rushing for the Falcons, but their defense didn’t have an answer for the Hurley rushing attack that racked up 387 yards on the ground.
