HUDSON DEFEATS WISCONSIN RAPIDS GIRLS BASKETBALL IN WIAA DIVISION 1 REGIONAL SEMIFINAL

HUDSON – The Wisconsin Rapids girls basketball team saw its season come to an end with a 57-46 loss to Hudson in a WIAA Division 1 regional semifinal Friday night at Hudson High School.


No. 8 seed Hudson (14-10) moves on to a regional final Saturday night at No. 1 seed Hortonville (23-1). Wisconsin Rapids, the ninth seed in the D-1 sectional, finishes its season with a 15-10 record.


Megan Clary scored 14 points, and Ella Bruns had 11 points and seven rebounds to lead Wisconsin Rapids.


Rapids was held to 29 percent shooting (13-for-45) in the loss.
