FOUR COLBY PLAYERS SCORE IN DOUBLE FIGURES AS HORNETS ROLL PAST OWEN-WITHEE

COLBY – Emma Peavey scored 17 points to lead four Colby players in double figures as the Hornets cruised to a 75-42 win over Owen-Withee in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball game Monday at Colby High School.


Hayden Willner added 14 points and eight rebounds, and Brett Schmitt and Brooklyn Fitzkowski both scored 10 points for Colby, which is now 4-1 overall and in the Cloverbelt East.


Grayce Bottlemy had 15 points and Reina Arndt scored 14 for Owen-Withee (0-8, 0-7 Cloverbelt East).


Colby hosts Gilman on Tuesday.
