EDGAR BASEBALL OPENS SEASON WITH WIN OVER CHEQUAMEGON

EDGAR – Edgar scored 11 runs in its two at-bats to win an abbreviated season opener over Chequamegon 11-3 in nonconference baseball action Tuesday at Edgar High School.

The game was called after 2½ innings due to rain.

Kaden Goodwin had three RBIs and Jordan Bunkelman had two hits for Edgar.

Edgar plays a nonconference game at Rib Lake on Thursday.
