COLEMAN – In a battle of undefeated teams in a WIAA Division 7 Level 2 football playoff game, Coleman proved to be better on both sides of the ball as the Cougars dominated Stevens Point Pacelli and rolled to a 56-18 victory on Friday night at Coleman High School.

Coleman (13-0) piled up 592 yards on the ground while holding the vaunted rushing game of Pacelli on only 92 on 2.3 yards per carry.

Owen Kinziger finished with 204 rushing yards and two touchdowns, and Peter Kuchta added another 137 on the ground as the Cougars averaged 11.6 yards per carry in the victory.

Pacelli’s Brycen Cashin was held to 104 yards on 20 carries and for the only time this season, he did not score a touchdown. The Cardinals’ running back finishes the season with 2,055 yards rushing and 36 touchdowns.

Drew Kedrowicz accounted for all three Pacelli scores, two on the ground and one on a 70-yard kickoff return. Pacelli ends the season 10-1.

Coleman will travel to undefeated Hurley for a Level 3 game on Nov. 5.
