AMHERST BASEBALL FINISHES OFF UNDEFEATED REGULAR SEASON WITH WIN AT MOSINEE

MOSINEE – Wyatt Blaskowski threw a complete game as the Amherst baseball team finished off an undefeated regular season with a 4-2 nonconference win over Mosinee on Thursday at Mosinee High School.
Blaskowski struck out four, didn’t walk a batter, and allowed just four hits to pick up the win for the Falcons, who are now 24-0.
Ben Lee had two RBI, and Landon Moe and Marcus Glodowski each drove in a run for Amherst.
Trevor Garski and Eli Miland had RBI for Mosinee (22-3).
Both teams will host WIAA regional semifinals on Tuesday. Mosinee will take on the winner of Friday’s game between Rhinelander and Merrill in a Division 2 contest. Amherst is the top seed in its Division 3 bracket and will host Neenah St. Mary Catholic.
