WISCONSIN RAPIDS GIRLS BASKETBALL EARNS WIN AT WAUSAU EAST

WAUSAU – Megan Clary poured in 25 points and Ella Bruns had a double-double to lead the Wisconsin Rapids girls basketball team to a 66-54 win over Wausau East in Wisconsin Valley Conference action Friday night at East High School.
Bruns had 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Raiders, who improve to 14-8 overall and 10-1 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.
Wisconsin Rapids hosts Rhinelander for a nonconference game Monday before finishing its regular season with a chance to earn a share of the Wisconsin Valley Conference championship at home against Wausau West on Thursday. The game will be live-streamed at zaleskisports.com.
Wausau East falls to 3-17 and 0-11 in the Valley. East will finish its season next week with a nonconference game at Medford on Tuesday and a home WVC contest against Merrill on Thursday.
