WISCONSIN RAPIDS FOOTBALL BLANKS OSHKOSH WEST IN WIAA LEVEL 1 PLAYOFF

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Leo Brostowitz ran for 100 yards and two scores to lead the Wisconsin Rapids football team to a 35-0 shutout of Oshkosh West in a WIAA Division 1 Level 1 playoff game Friday night at South Wood County Stadium.

Wisconsin Rapids, the No. 2 seed in its bracket, moves on to a Level 2 matchup at home on Oct. 29 against No. 3 seed Middleton, which was a 33-3 winner over Madison Memorial on Friday.

Wisconsin Rapids pounded West to the tune of 321 yards rushing and held the Wildcats to just 52 total yards and three first downs.

Caden Sengbusch added 69 yards and a touchdown, Teal Lucas rushed for 59 yards and another score, and Cooper Burdick had 50 yards and another rushing score for the Raiders (7-3).
