WILD ROSE GIRLS BASKETBALL BEATS MANAWA FOR FIFTH-STRAIGHT WIN

WILD ROSE – Laney Havlovitz drilled four 3-pointers and poured in 32 points to lead the Wild Rose girls basketball team to a 63-41 win over Manawa in a nonconference game Tuesday at Wild Rose High School.
Orria Wood added 13 points with the help of three 3-pointers for Wild Rose, which is now 7-1 after winning its fifth game in a row.
Wild Rose made nine 3-pointers in all, outscoring Manawa (4-5) by 11 points in each half to earn the victory.
Wild Rose is off until Jan. 3 when it plays a nonconference game at Adams-Friendship.
