SPENCER – The Neillsville boys basketball team maintained its one-half game lead on top of the Cloverbelt Conference East Division standings with a 62-56 win over Spencer on Tuesday at Spencer High School.


Santana Subke (14 points, 15 rebounds), Andrew Brown (14 points, 11 rebounds), and Mason Roenz (10 points, 12 rebounds) all had double-doubles for Neillsville, which improves to 17-5 overall and 12-1 in the Cloverbelt East.


The Warriors lead Marshfield Columbus Catholic by one-half game atop the Cloverbelt East standings, with the two teams meeting at Neillsville on Monday. Columbus also has a game at Loyal on Friday.


Kaleb Brandt had 19 points and Caleb Rucker added 16 for Spencer (6-16, 4-9 Cloverbelt East).


Spencer plays at Colby in conference action Friday to finish its Cloverbelt East schedule.
