PLOVER LEGION BASEBALL SWEEPS DOUBLEHEADER AT GREEN BAY SOUTHWEST

GREEN BAY – The Plover Black Sox Legion baseball team swept a doubleheader at Green Bay Southwest on Sunday, winning 12-7 and 11-2 to run its winning streak to seven.
Brycen Cashin had three hits and scored three times, and Bryce Ehr had two hits and three RBI for the Black Sox in the opening game.
Jon Nafe and Drew Kedrowicz both had two RBI as well in the win.
In Game 2, Plover scored six times in the top of the first inning and never looked back.
Ehr and Nafe combined on a three-hitter for the Black Sox.
Kenny Schultz drove in three runs, and Ben Fonti and Tim Sackmann each had two RBI in the victory for Plover.
Plover plays at Marshfield on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Jack Hackman Field. The game will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.
