PITTSVILLE RIVER BANDITS OPEN 2022 SEASON WITH WIN AT TOMAHAWK

TOMAHAWK - The Pittsville River Bandits opened its 2022 baseball season with a 6-4 road win at Tomahawk on Saturday night.
Dawson Luther led the Bandits effort offensively with three hits, a run scored, and a stolen base as Pittsville racked up 14 hits in the victory. Ryan Schwanebeck, Brett Rademan, and Jordan Rayburn each had two hits and runs batted in.
Sawyer Ladick was the winning pitcher, throwing six innings, striking out two and allowing one earned run. Justin Rayburn picked up the save on three innings of work, striking out one Tomahawk batter.
The River Bandits are at Whittlesey on Sunday 4:30 p.m. for another league contest.
