ROSHOLT – Pittsville held Rosholt to nine first-half points to build a double-digit lead and won the Central Wisconsin Conference South Division girls basketball opener for both teams on Friday night 48-29 at Rosholt High School.
Pittsville led 27-9 at halftime, and although Rosholt outscored them by one in the second half, the Panthers had enough of a cushion to wrap up the road win.

Brynn Friday scored 11 points and Natasha Lovieski added nine for the Panthers.
Sarah Trzinski had 11 points and five rebounds for Rosholt.
Both teams return to action Tuesday with nonconference games. Rosholt will be at Wisconsin Valley Lutheran and Pittsville will host Bowler.
